On Saturday, May 30th, at the OSiR Bemowo stadium, nearly 400 players from 39 teams - including the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Uzbekistan - played 97 matches, scoring a whopping 449 goals!
We return to the story of Ang Dawa Sherpa – a 24-year-old Nepali and former care home resident, who carried the Hope for Mundial flag to the summit of Lobuche East in the Himalayas.
Nour Shabaan participated in the 4th World Cup of Children from Care Homes and, in a letter to us, described how taking part in our tournament inspired him to take action that is now making a real difference in the lives of thousands of children in care homes in Egypt.
