Nearly 350 players from 35 care facilities from all over Poland played on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at the OSiR Bemowo stadium. The 14th Polish Football Championship for Children from Orphanages played at the OSiR Bemowo stadium. After very even, exciting competitions and finals full of surprises, the tournament winners were selected:

Polish Champion 2023: Sarnów
2nd Place 2023: Dream Team Jelenia Góra
3rd Place 2023: Debutants Łódź

Apart from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, awards were given to the most outstanding players on the pitch:

Individual awards

The best player and “Biedronka’s Hope” – sponsor of the main tournament: Oktawian Waleczek (Sarnów)

Best player: Kamila Piekarz (TajFUN Kraśnik)

Top scorer: Patryk Nowak (Burza Kłobuck) – 15 goals scored

Best goalkeeper: Marcin Gniedzko (Lwy Północy Gdańsk)

The happiest player: Aleksandra Mazanowska (FC OCPD Olsztyn)

The youngest player: Aleksander Janowski (Foundation “Awake the Hope” Gdańsk) 6 years old

The team from the “Awake the Hope” Gdańsk Foundation received the title of Fair Play Team of the tournament for their excellent sportsmanship.

Traditionally, the Polish Championships were attended by former Polish football representatives, including: Dariusz Dziekanowski, Jacek Krzynówek, Tomasz Sokołowski, Jacek Bednarz and Marek Jóźwiak, who have been supporting young football players from orphanages for years as Championship Ambassadors. The culmination of the day’s competition was an exhibition match in which former representatives played with children. This year, the winners were the players from orphanages with a score of 4:2.

Teams from Łódź, Kutno, Czernice Borowe, Szczecin, Olsztyn, Sarnów, Ustka, Wyszogród, Płock, Pasym, Gostynin, Gdańsk, Gostchorz, Kłobuck, Skopania, Kołaczków, Jelenia Góra, Franciszków, Dąbrowa Górnicza, Mań took part in the 14th Polish Championship. , Siedlce, Tczewa, Miechowa, Wydrzna, Golub-Dobrzyń, Grudziądz, Wojnów, Kraśnik, Kórnik-Bnin.
