It was a really great tournament! On Saturday, July 24th, teams from all over Poland and Europe showed up at the OSiR Targówek stadium in Warsaw. At the ceremonial opening of the tournament, there met players from Kutno, Szczecin, Olsztyn, Sarnów, Ustka, Wydrzno, Płock, Gostchorz, Gdańsk, Skopanie, Kołaczkowo, Katowice, Pęchery, Chełmno, Łobez, Tczew, Więcbork, Grudziądz, Mała Cerkwica, Gdańsk, Kłobuck, Reszel and Warsaw, as well as from Portugal and Slovenia.

After extremely fierce matches, gold medals were won by Horyzont Kołaczkowo team – thus the players from Kołaczkowo defended the title of the Polish Champion 2020!

On the podium for the winners there were also the winners of silver – Sternik Szczecin – and bronze medals – MOW Gostchorz.

During the Championship, the most outstanding players on the pitch were also awarded:

Best player and MVP of Biedronka, the sponsor of the main tournament: Antoni Narożny (Horyzont Kołaczkowo)

Best player: Martyna Kuczyńska (Wojownicy z Cerkwicy, Mała Cerkwica)

Top scorer: Krystian Komorowski – 22 goals scored (Tęcza Kutno)

Best goalkeeper: Eryk Rogowski (MOW Gostchorz)

Youngest player: Marcel Tomkiewicz – 4 years (Obudź Nadzieję, Gdańsk)

Most joyful player: Jakub Szymkowicz (Zew Morza, Szczecin)

Players of Sternik Junior from Szczecin received the title of the Fair Play Team of the tournament for their beautiful sports attitude.

In the OPEN category (former care home pupils)

The team of CPDiPR Senior Grudziądz won. Silver medals were won by the players from Błyskawica Krzepice, and the bronze medals went to the team of Horyzont Oldboy Kołaczkowo. Individual awards in the OPEN category were won by:

Top scorer: Daniel Sobisz (Lwy Północy Gdańsk)

Best player: Maciej Szczublewski (Horyzont Oldboy Kołaczkowo)

Best goalkeeper: Przemysław Gajewski (CPDiPR Senior Grudziądz)

After the grand finale, a show match was played between the former Polish national team and the children’s national team. In this game Dariusz Dziekanowski, Marek Jóźwiak, Tomasz Kłos, Jacek Krzynówek, Radosław Majdan, Tomasz Sokołowski and Piotr Świerczewski played together with the young players. After a fierce fight, the team of former Polish representatives triumphed in penalties.
