14th Polish Championship of Children from Care Homes 2023

The 14th Polish Championship of Children from Care Homes 2023 was held on April 29, 2023, with nearly 350 players from all over Poland. The title of Polish Champion 2023 was won by the Sarnów team, beating the Dream Team from Jelenia Gora 3:0 in the finals. The match for third place was won by Debutants Łódź, who - as the name suggests - participated in the Championships for the first time. The title of Fair Play team went to the team "Obudź Nadzieję" Gdańsk. Traditionally, the Polish Championships featured guest appearances by former Polish soccer representatives, including Dariusz Dziekanowski, Jacek Krzynówek, Tomasz Sokołowski, Jacek Bednarz, Tomasz Kłos and Marek Jóźwiak, who have been supporting young footballers from care homes as Championship Ambassadors. The culmination of the day-long football was an exhibition match, in which former representatives played against the children. This year the children's team triumphed with a score of 4:2.
